Napkin Painting Stenciling And Stamping

A white napkin ply recycle using water, watercolors, stencils and foam stamps. Napkins retain vibrant colors making them an excellent base for a variety of painting and stamping techniques. They are surprisingly strong and make great collage fodder.
Tips:
- Use a sheet of copy paper or book page so you can get two sets of painty papers.
- Let pages dry naturally to achieve a better second print but if too wet you’ll lose your design.
- Drier or dry napkin works best for stenciling. Be gentle with your blending brush.
- Use one ply for clean-up and it will collect a rainbow of colors.
Try some hand painted designs or painting over simple napkin designs.
Napkins are a great material for collage fodder. They are slightly translucent, lightweight and adhere easily for collage work or other paper crafting.
Happy paper crafting!
