Six Pocket Folder 12×12’s #16

This library pocket is inspired by Septeria 18. I chose two of her pocket styles to complete the front cover on these folders because both are a good way to use scraps of any size.

Six Pocket Folder

I thought this six pocket folder presented a good opportunity to add some unique embellishments that will enhance many paper projects and also use a lot of leftover scraps to fill each pocket. Add as many final touches as you wish.

What you’ll need:

1 12×12″ scrapbook paper (non directional, double sided paper)(can be single sided paper, tips in video)

Assorted scraps for filling, making front pocket and 2″ wide piece for making page tab divider.

Scoreboard

Glue

Scissors or trimmer

Begin with your 12×12″ paper and score at 4″ and 8″. Make a quarter turn and score at 6″. Fold and burnish. Cut at the 6″ mark on each side of the paper to the center rectangle as shown in the video. As a helpful guide when beginning to assemble remember that your top fold will come forward and fold down, this should help maintain your direction while folding the pages and pockets.

When completed this fun little folder holds a lot but still lies flat and offers a lot of variety for making it your own.

Happy paper crafting!
