Three Page Mini Album
This versatile three page mini album is sure to please paper crafters for junk journals, happy mail, craft shows, gifts or even special occasion photo book favors. As a bonus this fun project includes five pieces of ephemera in total and 4-7 pockets (all your choice). Once you learn the beginner friendly construction you’ll be busy thinking of more fun ways to flip or flop each page and add your own touch.

What you’ll need:
12″ x 12″ scrapbook paper (double sided, non directional pattern is better).
Scoreboard or scoring tool.
Glue
Scissors
Begin with a 12″ x 12″ sheet of scrapbook paper. Non directional double sided is best for beginners. Score at 4″ and 8″. Quarter turn either direction and score again at 4″ and 8″. Cut your paper up to the middle score lines as shown in the video. Now you can decide where and how you want your pockets and what squares you’ll want to cut and use for ephemera. As you’ll see in the tutorial there are many ways to do this. Begin as shown and then experiment with different cuts, folds and flips. If your folds are resistant there are some tips included. Glue your pockets and then cut your ephemera as desired.
Choose how many items you might want to place in the mini album before deciding on a closure. The mini album lies very flat if you only decide to include the pieces shown in the demonstration. I chose to use a hidden paper clip for a closure. This will add a little extra if the project is for gift giving or happy mail.
Do you love mini’s? Don’t forget you can make these albums in a variety of sizes, simple math makes the project planning easy. The creative possibilities are numerous for this fast and fun mini album and you’ll want to keep it as a favorite.
