Make this quick project using single or double sided scraps. 

You will need a 2 1/2″x5″ piece of scrap for the specimen and a 2 1/4″x5 3/4″ piece of scrap for the book cover. The book pages are approx. 2 1/8″ x 4 1/4″. 

You will also need a 1 1/2″ hole punch, some washi or a paper channel for securing the specimen. 

Fold the book cover at 1/2″, glue and follow the construction. You can use your punched out circle for a book closure or another embellishment. I used 4 sheets of copy paper scraps for book pages.

Embellish as desired.
