A decoupage picture frame project creating an old damaged mirror effect achieved with spray paint inspired this trash to treasure paper craft using photographic image greeting cards.

I used black acrylic paint, metallic silver acrylic paint, wax paper, gluestick and an embossing folder to achieve a framed look. 

For a more authentic mirror shine you can add a few scratches or scuff marks with an oil based metallic marker.

I did not try this but you might also try silver leaf or tiny bits of aluminum foil in place of  mirror spray paint.
