What you’ll need:
1 12×12″ scrapbook paper of your choice, non directional if beginner
Single hole paper punch
String or twine
Scoreboard of scoring tool
Begin by cutting your 12×12″ paper into three equal strips that measure 4″x12″.
Score each piece at 5 1/2″, 6″ and 6″ 1/2″. Fold and burnish each score line as shown in the video tutorial, choose your cover piece and then either keeping all papers the same direction or choosing to reverse one to the opposite pattern for variety.
How you decorate or embellish your mini album is up to you. Pockets and corner tucks can easily be added. 4×6″ photos will have to be trimmed.
This binding technique is so simple you can use it to make notebooks for your journals too using digitals. The backs make for lots of writing space.
Happy paper crafting!
