Fast Fun Tags
This fun paper design doesn’t need a lot of extras so for this tag project I just added some torn paper, words, DIY washi and dimension. Mix and match patterns add that little extra without a lot of work. Any busy paper design can be a great start for a tag. If your design doesn’t have a focal point add interest to your tag with the suggestions below.

What you’ll need:
Tag bases and paper whatever shape and design you desire
Glue
Invisible tape
Scissors
Embellishments of your choice
I chose more patterns for the reinforcement hole. I also added some small tags of different shapes and textures for more dimension but you can add charms, beads or decorated paper clips to add some fun embellishments. Paper beads would be perfect.
Try some fun fringe at the bottom, a little lace or a paper ruffle. If you want a touch of metal add some eyelets and dangle something from a corner. Add a hole with a knot of string or twine or couple of holes with a tiny bow. You might also try texture paste or a die cut flourish. Some stamps or a white pen can also add to the design. If you want to add sparkle use glitter glue. Don’t forget your string to easily add color or texture, wrap two or three different colors and types, slide a bead down to near the tag top as shown below and then make your knot at the other end.
Keep a few of these fun tags handy for last minute gift giving. They will dress up any simple brown paper or one color gift bag and will make a nice keepsake for the recipient.
