I was happy to find a new way to jazz up ribbon by using a bead to tighten it instead of a knot. Buttons can also add a lot to tag tops, including shank buttons. Don’t forget layering to add more interest. You can also add an element to the ends of your string as with a signature thread. And don’t forget different shapes for tags!
