Handmade Labels
It’s seems labels are very popular as of late. I’ve watched many videos of inspirational additions to digital printable labels as well as how to add interest with stamps.
I like trying to recreate things with for those who may not have a lot of craft supplies. I have a lot of label ephemera but wanted some number labels specifically so I wanted to give it a go without having to make a purchase myself.
These were a lot of fun and this option gives you many more shapes to choose from as can commonly be found in label stamps or die sets.
You’ll simply need your background paper, some shapes similar to what you see in the video, stamps, maybe a stencil and ink. I chose an archival ink as I don’t want to smear if I add a glaze or any other wet additions.
The sky is the limit when it comes to making these. I think they are awesomely pre-distressed and remind me of old fruit crate labels or wine box labels. I definitely plan on exploring this idea further.
